"Tornado Days" refers to the number of days during the year that at least one tornado occurred.
For example, if ten torndaoes occur on a single day, that is only 1 tornado day.
Prior to 1953 there was an under reporting of tornadoes. A second graph, above, was created for 1953 thru 2023.
